IJMPO is a bimonthly journal owned by our society- ISMPO. As you are aware, we have just shifted to Thieme publishers form WK Medknow publishers. The transfer has taken longer than expected due to multiple problems beyond our control. We deeply regret this delay in publishing our first issue and we truly appreciate your patience and co-operation. We are, however, confident that, the efforts put in by the IJMPO and Thieme teams will result in the timely publication of the remaining issues.
Our February 2021 issue has recently been published online. IJMPO has gone paperless and will be available open access online. All the ISMPO members will be provided with the e-book of the issue free of charge. Please find attached the e-book of our first issue of 2021. The subsequent issues will be shared with all the members as e-books as well. In case you absolutely require a print copy of the issue, please reach out to us at ijmpo.office@gmail.com and we will make it available at a nominal charge.
IJMPO is an open-access journal and you could access the articles on www.ijmpo.org. The archives and the future issues will be available on the same website, the process of which has been going on for some time. We are grateful to everyone who has supported us during this transition period. We appreciate the guidance and support provided by our Hon President Dr. Govind Babu, Hon Secretary Dr. BK Smruti and our advisor Dr. Sudeep Gupta as well as all the members of the ISMPO Executive Committee. We are also indebted to all the members of the editorial board as well as our well-wishers.
Early this year, we lost our pillar of strength and advisor of IJMPO, Dr. GS Bhattacharyya. With the release of our first issue this year, we would like to remember him and convey our gratitude for his invaluable guidance and his precious contribution in bringing us where we are today.
