Indian Journal of Medical and Paediatric Oncology (IJMPO) is a bi-monthly peer-reviewed international journal published by Thieme Medical Publishers on behalf of the Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology (ISMPO). The journal is available in both print and online versions. We receive more than 500 manuscripts each year and are currently in the 45nd year of publishing. Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology is the apex body of Medical and Paediatric Oncologists in India. It was established in 1973 as Indian Society of Cancer Chemotherapist (ISCC) and was given its present name in 1983. It currently has more than 600 active members and has a very vibrant academic culture.
Scope of the journal
The journal publishes articles on medical and pediatric oncology, haemato-oncology, onco-pathology, onco-radiology and allied subjects. The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to the above subjects including ethical and social issues. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.

IJMPO has adapted AOP First policy. All the accepted manuscripts are published first online after due processing and are published subsequently in suitable issues. Articles published online Ahead of Print are considered published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source. IJMPO and Thieme Medical Publishers have a policy that changes will not be made after publication of an article without following accepted procedures for making corrections to the scientific record.
